Hamilton & Inches celebrates world-class crafters at their upcoming pop-up event
The event coincides with Scotland's Elements festival and will highlight three fantastic craft makers.
Hamilton & Inches is set to host a pop-up event for Scotland’s Elements festival, which will be held later this month.
Organised by the Scottish Goldsmiths Trust in partnership with Lyon & Turnbull Auctioneers, the Elements festival is an annual celebration of the UK's leading Jewellers and Silversmiths.
The pop-up exhibition will take place at Hamilton & Inches’ newly renovated showroom and will run from the 14th until the 17th of October. The event will showcase three, world-class, craft makers, highlighting their designs.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet the makers, who will exhibit a variety of eye-catching, elegant and contemporary designs.
Hamilton & Inches will notably showcase the works of Michelle Currie, Alice Fry and Sheila McDonald. Their designs will be available to purchase in-store with commissions made on behalf of Hamilton & Inches being donated to the Scottish Goldsmith Trust, in support of both established and emerging artisans.
The Element’s pop-up exhibition highlights Hamilton & Inches commitment to sustaining craft in Scotland as well as its dedication to supporting craft making as a career. Victoria Houghton, Hamilton & Inches CEO, said: “The Element’s pop-up exhibition is a fantastic opportunity for us to highlight the importance of craft and craftsmanship in the UK. Our commitment to sustainability is demonstrated in the recent refurbishment of our showroom and workshops and, with craftmanship being the pinnacle of our operations, we are proud to support these craft makers and their beautifully diverse creations.”
