Mr Bruce: the solo venture with a headline tour

Mr Bruce has announced UK tour dates in 2022 after unveiling his new solo venture.

Mr Bruce was the former frontman of The Correspondents and taken his solo music venture to new heights with an eclectic sound ranging from techno to jungle, to garage to house. The Correspondents were one of the UK’s most in-demand festival acts for a decade with expert insight into the dance music industry. Mr Bruce will showcase his exciting new sound for fans at some of the best independent music venues during his tour in March and April.

The bendy-bodied performer brings his incredible artistry to the scene with his debut release of ‘Race To Nowhere’, which is lyrically candid yet flamboyant in delivery, with a dance rhythm to keep you bouncing on the dance floor. Eerie music breaks collide and pull together the music beats, with a video to match the inventive and theatrical personality of Mr Bruce, manifesting the best of his incredible talents.

A five track mini album is planned for release later this year which will tackle issues both personal and public related such as the climate crisis, the death of Mr Bruce’s twin brother aged 20, the breakdown of his marriage in 2019 and the sudden death of his music partner Tim Cole from The Correspondents after 13 action-packed years. There are several music videos to be released, most of which have been animated by Mr Bruce himself, which have already been picked up by film festivals and are collecting awards.

The Correspondents were incredibly successful over the years and they were named one of Glastonbury’s Top 10 acts by The Telegraph. Mr Bruce is here to bring his high energy antics and spectacular dancing to the stage for fans new and old alike as his Spring tour will be his very first headline gigs after the victorious Summer festivals of 2021 at Wilderness, Boardmasters, HowTheLightGetsIn and more. His brand-new stage show is set to feature new choreography never seen before alongside some of his most flamboyant costumes to date and a selection of The Correspondents hits to honour Cole and fans; this show promises to be a unique and unparalleled experience.

Mr Bruce has something to say and will stand on stage to express his love for music and dance in the best way possible; to honour his grief for Cole and will amaze and astonish fans with his performance with his decade of writing pop songs designated for the dance floor.

Be sure to grab tickets for his tour dates in Edinburgh and Glasgow and bring along your dancing shoes for a night like no other.
