Rising five-piece Just Mustard to play iconic Edinburgh venue

Rising five-piece Just Mustard are set to head out on the road this October, with a short UK and Ireland tour including a stop at Sneaky Pete's.

Just Mustard hail from Dundalk, Ireland, where vocalist Katie Bell, guitarists David Noonan and Mete Kalyon, bassist Rob Clark, and drummer Shane Macguire create a heady blend of noise, trip hop, and electronic-influenced music that has helped earn a reputation as one of Ireland's most thrilling new bands. Their 2018 debut 'Wednesday' garnered acclaim both at home and abroad, most notably earning them a Choice Music Prize nomination for Irish Album of the Year. They have since gone on to receive extensive support from NME and BBC Radio 1, the latter of which heralded 'Wednesday' as 'Tune of the Week'.

In 2019, Just Mustard supported Dublin post-punk band Fontaines DC on their sold out UK tour, and emerged as 'band of the weekend' at Brighton's Great Escape Festival. That same year the band were handpicked by Robert Smith to support The Cure at Dublin's Malahide Castle.

The 2021 tour announcement follows the news of Just Mustard's singing with Brooklyn and London-based Partisan Records, also home to the likes of Fontaines D.C, Laura Marling, and IDLES. Additionally, the band will premiere their full-length concert film 'Live In Dreams' on Thursday 20th May at 9pm BST. Directed by Greg Purcell and presented by Collective Films - frequent collaborator with Panic! at the Disco, Fall Out Boy and Weezer - 'Live In Dreams' was taped at Dundalk Town Hall, an independent arts space in Just Mustard's Irish home town of Dundalk. The concert film will premiere via YouTube and feature tracks from the band's yet-to-be-announced sophomore album, alongside previously released material from the band's arsenal. Watch the trailer for 'Live In Dreams' below.
